24 weeks



How Far Along? 24 weeks! Only 4 more months to go.  So crazy!

Size? The size of an ear of corn. 12.5 in long  and 1.25-1.5 pounds!!!. At my appt this morning, my doctor said she is meauring right on track!

Baby Development?  Blood vessels in her lungs are beginning to develop as well as capillaries under her skin which gives her a more pinkish tone! Her nostrils are also opening up helping her to learn how to "breathe" in the amniotic fluid. 

 

Maternity Clothes? Nothing new. I have begun to really hate tights and their uncomfortable high band. I can't wait for spring when I can just wear a dress and no tights again.  

Weight Gain? 13 lbs. 

 

Stretch Marks? still none and hoping to stay this way. 

Gender? Sweet baby girl!  

     

Sleep? Love love love sleep and doing a good job at mastering it! 

 

Movement? kicking up a storm! David had his head on my belly the other night and she kicked him! Can definitely see the strong kicks from the outside now.  

 

Food Cravings? Mac n' Cheese and water  

 

Anything making you queasy or sick? nope!

 

Labor signs? no and hoping it stays this way for a LONG time.

 

Belly button in or out? getting shallow, but still in.  

 

Wedding rings, on or off? still on and loose

 

What I Miss? sleeping on my tummy 

 

Symptoms? Heartburn has been better this week, I think I have only had to eat Tums late at night in the bed instead of all day long.  Super stuffy nose through out the night but once I get up in the morning and walk around its gone in 5 min. 

Happy or Moody? Happy as can be!

 

Nursery: we bought a rug!  once its in I will do a big nursery update post!    

 

Best Moment of the Week?  finally finding a rug that I love and not feeling like I was settling for something that I was unsure about.  And ringing in the 2013 with David and friends! OH and getting to hear Miss Eleanor's heartbeat this morning :)
